Committees

Our technical committees are crucial to the attainment and maintenance of best practice in all areas, and each committee has its own terms of reference and objectives.

Roading New Zealand has around 24 Technical Committees, subcommittees and working groups involved in over 40 separate projects and involving around 70 of its members. It is estimated that the value of this work to Roading New Zealand and its members is in excess of $500,000 per year.

Committee representatives are appointed from Roading New Zealand member companies for their expertise in relevant technical areas. Their role is to keep abreast of ongoing and substantial change in the contracting industry.
