Quality Assurance of Bituminous Binders

Roading New Zealand has just published its Code of Practice RNZ 9803: 2013 for the Quality Assurance of Bituminous Binders. The code covers the systems and proceures recommended for quality assurance of bituminous binders used for pavement construction in New Zealand. Download a copy here.

Auckland Asphalt Group 2012 Technical Forum

Motorway alliance takes out Supreme Roading Excellence Award

Roading Excellence Awards 2012

Entries are now open for the 2012 Roading Excellence Awards. The Awards promote leadership, excellence and best practice in the provision of land transport infrastructure and celebrate success, with the aim to encourage collaboration and the transfer of innovation. Competition is open to all organisations that administer roads, such as the NZTA and local authorities, as well as contractors and consultants.

Entries open Mon 7 May.  Entries close Friday 6 July.  Award winners announced Monday 27 August at a Gala Awards Dinner at The Langham in Auckland

Key dates annnounced for Roading Excellence Awards 2012

Roading NZ has announced the timetable for the Roading Excellence Awards 2012.  Note that there's a new awards category – Best Practice in Asset Management- which replaces the Best Practice in Procurement category - details to follow soon.
