New guidance for first coat sealing

A newly published Technical Note from Roading NZ, First Coat Sealing on a Stabilised Basecourse, gives guidance to roading practitioners  in determining the amount of bitumen and diluents required for seal designs on all types of stabilised basecourse pavement surfaces. New Guidelines for Surfacing Treatment Selection

Roading New Zealand has published a comprehensive set of Guidelines for Surfacing Treatment Selection, which is expected to be invaluable for Asset Managers, Surfacing Engineers and Pavement Designers. The guidelines were produced by a specialist team comprising members of Roading NZ’s Pavement and Asphalt Committees, with assistance from the New Zealand Transport Agency (NZTA)
